Serialized item

A specific single physical item identifiable through the combination of an item number/serial number combination.

A serialized item is the key identifier to which:

A object baseline is allocated
Build history is allocated
Waivers, deviations, and modifications are associated
The build state record for a complete main equipment is maintained

Items identified in batches are managed in the same way as serialized items by AssetWise.
